Since the optics for cameras is the most important thing, it took only two years to master the production of other parts. And the Takachiho Seisakusho company became the first in Japan to master the production of all components of its cameras. After the war, the leaders of most Japanese companies realized the need to enter the international market. Therefore, in the late 1940s and early 1950s, huge industrial corporations and small firms across the country were actively changing traditional Japanese names to more universal Anglo-American ones, and hieroglyphs on logos began to give way to the Latin alphabet. In Takachiho Seisakusho, without thinking twice, they simply replaced the Japanese sacred mountain Takachiho with its European counterpart. The result was a very sonorous and memorable international name, which, among other things, was already well known in the Japanese market. After all, the first logo with the word “Olympus” appeared on the company's microscopes back in 1921. In 1970, the company's logo acquired the familiar look - it turned into a laconic inscription in blue font.
